Code of Conduct

We’re only going to share three rules here, but in addition to these rules, please use common sense and respect for your fellow filmmakers when engaging in this community.

To paraphrase the immortal Girl Scout code, “Make the world a better place and be a sister to every member.”


1. Be polite, kind, and respectful. We're all in this together. While this is a place for discussion and growth, we will stop any conversations that become aggressive or unkind. In the wise words of She’s the Man (2006): "When debutantes disagree, they say it with their eyes."

2. Do not repost jobs without permission. We very much welcome applying to and posting jobs on this forum, however, please respect the privacy and goodwill of this community, and do not share jobs outside of the group without the explicit permission of the poster.

3. No promotions or spam. Please do not use the listserv to solicit donations or funding. If you have a project you'd like to share, shoot us a blurb at info@womenofcinematicarts.org and we'll happily include it in our next Monthly Newsletter.
